The master bedroom felt rather claustrophobic from the get go, as the previous owners had these whacking great big built in wardrobes taking up most of the room. They were huge. And…..OK lets say not to our taste. They had to go…
So, when we moved it was getting cold, but it wasn’t really cold. About two weeks in though the temperature started to really drop, and we found that the kitchen got really rather…chilly.
After the interesting time we had in the kitchen, we decided to buy some sealer to paint onto the living room wall where the garish purple wallpaper was.
So we got to work.

Continue reading MovingWe first viewed the property in August 2020 after having found it on Rightmove (after accepting Merilynn’s proposal to up our budget). We wanted too many things from our initial much lower budget and realised it had to go up.
On our first viewing we liked how big it was downstairs, but thought perhaps the upstairs was a bit small. The main bedroom has huge built in wardrobes (with horrible fake marble coloured veneers) which made it feel claustrophobic. However after viewing some other places we came back to this one.
