After the interesting time we had in the kitchen, we decided to buy some sealer to paint onto the living room wall where the garish purple wallpaper was.

So we got to work.
Starting Going well Bald spot. I meant the wall! Just the backing paper now Steaaam Almost there Clear and filled the paint peels
Now it was ready we brushed on the sealer. This stuff gave us a nice matte surface to paint on to compared to the difficulty of painting in the kitchen. In addition it negates the trickiness of removing every last smidge of wallpaper paste.

Now came the fun part, painting on the colour we actually wanted. We chose to use Farrow and Ball paint, and the colour is Cooking Apple Green.
Note the streaks are from the stupid chandelier, not our terrible painting ability… Ta da! And without the light on
We think the colour looks great, and are very pleased with the outcome. Its the most complete room in the house and with some more additions it will be almost done.
