So if you’ve managed to get this far without the understanding that the kitchen in this house gets pretty draughty we thought we’d do another post just to emphasise this.
Once the makeshift shelves had been set up in the kitchen we still found a lot of cold air was coming in from the gaps in the counters. To try and help with this we introduced more rugs and Ben sealed the edges of the floor anywhere we could access. It was still pretty cold. So we enlisted the help of Ben’s mum.
We asked if she could make us some curtains to cover the gaps and stop any draughts. We also hoped to tidy and brighten up the kitchen a little bit.
It should probably be mentioned that this was also in February….
