Another post on a big catch up. Alongside our new roof on the Workshop in Feb, we also had someone come in to get some things sorted inside.
We wanted the hallway to be replastered, the big hulking cupboard that used to hold the water tanks reduced in size (it blocked the already minimal light on the landing and was very overbearing), the electricals there tidied up and a proper loft hatch installed (the existing one was tiny to fit between the old joists).
While the job was going we also decided to completely remove the cupboard, rather than just cut it in half. For reference on how the hallway used to look,…
Well, here follows the journey to light and better looking walls!
Fast forward now to May, and we finally got to prepping the walls and painting them!
Oh, we also bought a massive ladder. So far we’ve got everything painted in white, when we get time we’ll go back to this, do some touch ups, then get our final colour painted on! But we’ve been focussing on the outside mostly to take advantage of the better weather.
